Robots Are Only Useful If They Live Up To Their Potential
Ghost Robotics builds robots for the real world, providing a variety of advanced, adaptable solutions to commercial and defense partners.

Everything we do is with purpose, for a purpose.
Too many robots are thrown onto the market, but we believe truly impactful technology takes time and testing. We’re committed to creating the best robotics platform for commercial businesses and defense contractors to leverage as they lead their missions forward.

Building better legged robots since 2015.

Avik De and Gavin Kenneally founded Ghost Robotics after successfully developing multiple direct-drive robots, like Minitaur. Jiren Parikh then joins as CEO as the company grows out of UPenn.

Ghost Robotics develops the first-ever Vision 60 1.0 robot. By 2018 the robot is launched commercially, sold to US Army Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The highly capable Vision 60 3.0 launches, able to climb stairs, operate inverted and demonstrate reflexes.
The team grows to 10 employees and deploys the first base security robot at Tyndall AFB.

Perception systems are added to robots, the Vision 60 achieves IP67 rating and Ghost is awarded 10x SBIR contracts from AFWERX.

With over 60 employees, the team makes huge strides in enhancements to the Vision 60 platform, including Security Payload development and dextrous arm attachments. Company starts to market to the commercial sector.
Pushing the boundaries of robotics, step by step.
Our Vision series robots will evolve into a portfolio of various sized systems for specific environments and price points covering commercial and defense needs.
Ghost’s underlying proprietary electronics, software stack, and control system for complex actuated systems will power a future of next-generation mobile robots beyond quadrupeds, including human enhancement systems, manipulation systems, and futuristic hybrid mobility platforms.
